Haven House has provided temporary shelter for homeless one-parent and two-parent families since 1983. Over the years, the scope of their programs and services has increased dramatically. Not only do they provide support for their residents with basic needs such as shelter, food, clothing, and personal needs items, but they have developed programs that will make an impact on the lives of these families after they have left the shelter.
Giving the residents the opportunity to improve their lives through goal setting, training, and education enables them to become more productive and less apt to become homeless in the future.
Eastminster has partnered with Haven House each Christmas to adopt families for gift giving and to help wrap presents. For more information about giving to the two families we have adopted this year, click here.
