In September, a second 21-Day Racial Justice Challenge was held both for those who were not able to do the first one and for those who wanted to continue their work and the conversation. Challenges were emailed to participants each day starting on Sept. 7 and continuing for the next 21 days. They met weekly on the church grounds at 11 a.m. on Mondays (with a few rescheduled due to weather) for hour-long discussions.
The challenge was designed with a Presbyterian flavor, searching into the church’s role and the statements it makes on racial justice.
