Eastminster’s organ is Opus 66 of Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Lake City, Iowa.
Lynn A. Dobson is a native of Iowa who carried out his first rebuild of a pipe organ while he was a student at Wayne State College, in Wayne, Nebraska.
He established Dobson Pipe Organ Builders in 1974. Their force of 17 craftspeople spent more than 4,800 hours constructing Eastminster’s organ.
