Throughout the year, Eastminster Presbyterian takes up a variety of special collections to help with specific causes.
Some of these collections are collections of the Presbyterian (USA) church, such as the Peace and Global Witness, One Great Hour of Sharing, Christmas Joy, Pentecost Offering and Cents-ability.
Others are specific to our community and to the church, such as the Crop Walk or the Super Bowl of Caring. Others are in response to immediate needs such as disasters. Some are small and quiet, such as those made for individuals in need or local organizations.
Whatever they are, we try to express joy in our giving and practice Christian stewardship in how we use our time, talents and tithes for God’s work.
